JJust about anyone in Miami this weekend is about to go H.A.M with Electronic Dance Music. The Ultra Music Festival starts today followed by 9 straight days of EDM madness. Swedish House Mafia will be closing out their career by opening and closing the festival. Avicii has opened the Avicii Hotel (still waiting to see exactly what that means). Liv, Story and Mansion will battle it out each night with top notch DJ talent. SET is reopening with its new look. Snoop Lion is making an appearance at Bamboo this Sunday and next (you know Snoop is never one to miss a good party). In fact, rumor has it that the ORIGINAL EDM artist Afrika Bambaataa will be somewhere in South Beach. Many bottles will be popped and it is safe to assume there will be a fair amount of MDMA consumed.
Of course, ADANAI is all about this (well, except for the MDMA) and there will definitely be some ADANAI operatives in the mix somewhere in South Beach this week. That being said, most can’t do EDM 24 hours a day. For those 3 hours at the pool or at the beach when you are trying to give your head and ears a rest, ADANAI presents the Ultra at the Beach playlist. Throw this on while you hydrate and recuperate for those next 16 hours of partying. As with all of the All-In playlists, the Ultra at the Beach list is also a great way to pass the time at the poker table.
For those of you that need 24 hours of Swedish House Mafia, there is an incredible acoustic version of “Don’t You Worry Child.” There are a few other things for you EDM junkies as Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfeld, DJ Sammy and Jakatta make appearances. Alicia Keys, The Roots and Skylar Grey also get into the mix. Enjoy.
